iFly 737MAX for StreamDeck PLUS Profile by Tonyviation Download

LORBY's AxisAndOHs(AAO) is required to run this Profile.

This profile is designed by Tonyviation, real B737MAX and 787 pilot, featuring essential buttons and control switches needed for normal operation. The procedures are built on FCOM Normal Procedures.

This was created for fellow budget flight simmers who use the Stream Deck Plus as their sole device. I tested and modified the shared profiles. Guenseli's AAO script was a great help.

The Preflight and Engine Start-Up, as well as the Engine Shutdown processes, primarily require a mouse and keyboard for setup. Therefore, only the switches and buttons needed during actual flight (Hands-on Controller) are included (For example, switches like Anti-Collision Light, Logo Light, and most overhead panel switches are not included since they are not usually required during operations.)

Installation Instructions

Since the installation process is complex, please follow the steps carefully without skipping any.
If you ever used Guenseli's iFly 737MAX Profile, only need to install my SD+ Profile and Script.

  • Import the AxisAndOhsScripts_iFly737MAX.xml file according to the AAO Manual.(Overwrite if it asks)
  • Import the AxisAndOhsScripts_iFly737MAX_TONY_Vxx.xml file according to the AAO Manual. (Overwrite if it asks)
  • Install the Stream Deck+ Profile : Double-click the StreamDeckProfile file to install the profile.
    (Ensure that your Stream Deck+ device is connected and updated to the latest version beforehand.)
  • Enjoy your flight! ✈️

Developer's explanation

Each page can be navigated using buttons or by swiping left and right. (Order: EFIS - MCP - FWD - OVERHEAD - COM - NAV - CONF)

MCP Page

Since it is not possible to include all MCP buttons, only the switches that are primarily used during actual flights have been included. Buttons like SPD and ALT HLD are generally not used directly, as they are typically engaged via LVL CHG or V/S switches. However, to allow users to verify their engagement status, they are displayed in a smaller format on the MCP display. 
  • The CMD switch operates as follows: a short press activates CMD A, a long press (0.5 seconds or more) activates CMD B.
  • The ENGAGE light is split in half to indicate which command switch(A or B) is engaged. 
  • A long press on the APP switch functions as a VOR/LOC switch, and this is also indicated on the switch itself.
  • Unlike the 737, aircraft developed later (such as the 777 and 787) allow the SPD and ALT knobs to function as INTERVENTION when pressed. this function also has been implemented.
  • Touching "C/O" on the display toggles between IAS and MACH, while touching the BANK ANGLE INDEX adjusts the setting.
  • For additional intuitive use, Pressing the HDG knob engages HDG SEL mode, while pressing the V/S knob engages V/S mode.
  • Long Press on SPD knob toggle SPD mode, and Long Press on ALT knob trigger ALT HLD mode.

EFIS Page

Each knob functions as a real aircraft knob when pressed (RST, CTR, TFC, STD).  
While in an actual aircraft, EFIS changes are visually confirmed on the PFD/ND, the Stream Deck display also shows setting values for verification.
The WPT and POS switches, which are rarely used, have been removed.

FWD Page

  • A long press on the A/T switch presses the A/T disengage annunciator. When auto-throttle is disengaged and the annunciator flashes, a long press cancels the light.
  • The FD switch indicates which FCC is the master.
  • Pressing the transponder knob cycles through numbers sequentially, and touching the IDENT button on the display activates IDENT.
  • If you press transponder selector knob, It activates xpdr 'TEST'.
  • Pressing the COURSE knob allows selection and adjustment of the left or right CRS.

OVERHEAD Page

Due to MSFS limitations, wiper switches were excluded since wipers do not affect raindrops on the windshield or visibility.
  • A short press on the TAXI/TURNOFF light switch operates the TAXI light, while a long press operates the TURNOFF light switch. 
  • The BRIGHTNESS control allows sequential adjustments by pressing the knob: ALL DU → ALL PANEL (BACKLIT) → ALL FLOOD. Instead of displaying numerical brightness values, brightness is adjusted visually on the screen, making knob position irrelevant.
  • Wing anti-ice was excluded, as it is rarely used.
  • FLT ALT and LAND ALT can be selected and adjusted by pressing the knobs.

CONFIG Page

The config page allows you to set the flaps, landing gear, and speed brakes while controlling the MCP during the approach phase.
  • Pressing and holding the FLAP UP switch fully retracts the flaps, while pressing and holding the DOWN switch sets the flaps to 40. 

COM/NAV Page

This page is allows easy navigation to other pages.

 

Known Bugs

  • Due to a parameter error in iFly, the values for the SPD window, FLT ALT window, and LAND ALT window are not displayed. Please check and set them directly via the PFD or monitor.
  • Brightness adjustment on the OVH panel operates independently of the actual knobs.
